Deleting your account

Where to request account deletion in each app, how long it takes, and which records must be kept by law.

Requesting deletion

You can request deletion from inside any Amaltash app. If you cannot sign in, the page at amaltash.com/delete-account explains how to ask instead.

  1. iPhone and iPad: Settings, then Delete account.
  2. Android: Account, then Delete account.
  3. Web: Settings, then Security, then Delete account.

What happens next

Requests are processed within 3 to 7 business days, and you get an email when it is done.

Your profile, sign-in, settings and the strategies you created are deleted. Records that an investment adviser must keep under SEC Rule 204-2 are retained, and your brokerage records are kept by Alpaca, the broker that holds your account.
